Muktinath is a very sacred place for Hindus and Buddhists. Hindus make pilgrimages there for a festival each year. We walked up to the Chumjig Gyatas in the late afternoon. It was another place that felt magical and was a perfect place to visit after going through the pass. Photos are not allowed inside the temples so the photos are of the grounds. There were beautiful statues and paintings in both. Another place that I would like to go back and visit again.
