West Texas Water Tour: Big Bend National Park

The second natural spring was the hot spring in Big Bend National Park. Big Bend National Park is one of my favorite parks and I have visited many times, you can check out my past visits on previous blog posts.     The hot spring in Big Bend is located next to the Rio Grande in the remains of a bath house from 1909.
105 degrees felt great after hiking and when too hot, just dipped my legs in the cold Rio Grande.   In the evening, there was a beautiful full moon that would pass through the window. We also got a sneak peak at the new fossil exhibit that had its Grand Opening on the 14th of February 2017. If you like fossils and dinosaurs, Big Bend is the place to go.
