a yogini hiker environmentalist foodie who loves cognitive science, design and entrepreneurism ; founder of Austin Creative Reuse.
I am a collaborative and strategic leader with over 25 years in leadership and 20 years of retail operations experience. I am the founder of Austin Creative Reuse, a non-profit organization focused on reuse and conservation through creativity, education and community building. As a Peace Corps volunteer, I served as an NGO Advising Volunteer in Moldova.
I connect with the community through volunteer work ranging from serving on nonprofit boards, to running fundraising events. I have a very logical nature and value art and creativity as a way to keep my mind open to new ideas. As an avid hiker, I recognize the need for stewardship of the environment and continually evaluate my daily choices to reduce my ecological footprint. I enjoy traveling, check out my Exploring the World blog for posts about my Peace Corps Moldova Experience, hiking and other travel adventures.
