Video Projects

Progressing from photography to creating videos with multi-media.  While a Peace Corps volunteer, I began making videos to support the community or to share my experience with others.  I started to understand how the best practices that I learned about making impactful presentations supported the stories that I wanted to tell.  I taught myself how to integrate photography, videos, and audio together and how to use other editing options to enhance the interplay of these.  I am still on this journey and learn more each time I work on a new project. 

O Zi De Curățenie (A Day of Cleaning)

I created this video to share the story of a community project implemented by myself and 5 other volunteers during our Pre-Service Peace Corps Training. Moldova 2017
Ziua Profesorilor 2017 (Teachers’ Day)

This video was created to project during the celebration of the teachers at a school in Moldova. Moldova 2017
During my Peace Corps service, I worked with the leaders of a local non-profit organization. In 2018, we raised funds to enhance the services that the orgranization offers. This video was a way to thank donors and for them to see how the funds were used at the center.
In 2018, I assisted at a weeklong English Camp. While I had been asked to just take photos, I started to recorded videos of the campers delivering the Engligh phrases that they were learning that day. I then complied these with music played during an evening session. We ended the evening session with the video as a way to celebrate the day. (We did not collect waivers for these videos; therefore, I am unable to share the videos publically.) Moldova 2018.
